A few months ago we had news of a 45 Dollar (£28) Laptop running Windows CE.

Well today we have found via Ebay.Com an Android Tablet thats on sale for a ultra cheap $50 (£32)

For that you get an Android Tablet with a 7 Inch Screen, Front Facing Camera, USB Ethernet Dongle and 4GB Storage Capacity. The Tablet runs the Android 2.2 Froyo OS.
